Designers’ Platform Houston 2019

On Friday night (January 18, 2019) I had the honor to attend the Designers’ Platform for emerging Houston fashion designers. The event was created by Chloe Dao, Project Runway season 2 winner, who wanted to give young designers from the fashion programs of Houston Community College and Art Institute of Houston a chance to be viewed by many.

“This is very near and dear to my heart because I have worked with and seen so many talented local designers struggle to be successful. Our goal is just to get more eyeballs on their works.”  – Chloe Dao

It was a lovely event filled with fashion forward people who were ready for a fashion filled night. Personally I love fashion shows. To me it’s the best kind of event, I sit and watch wonderful garments worn by fierce ladies pass by one by one with tunes blasting. It’s amazing. I just have to work on my camera skills for the action shots.
