The Silk Romper That Deserves More Attention

I’m starting to think Elie Tahari might be one of fashion’s most underrated labels.

Exhibit A: the Carly Silk Lace Romper.

She’s dusty rose. She’s trimmed in delicate ivory lace. She has that slightly undone, lingerie-inspired silhouette that looks like you wandered out of a very expensive hotel suite and somehow ended up at dinner looking fabulous.

September 1st arrives and, regardless of what the thermometer says, I’m emotionally finished with summer.

The sandals can stay out. The tiny dresses aren’t necessarily going anywhere. And if you live somewhere warm, you may still be sweating through your morning coffee.

None of that matters.

It’s fall.
